Five Steps To A Successful Building Experience And A Home You’ll Love Forever
Unlike most so-called consultations that are more like a sales presentation with a commission salesperson, your Enduro Builders site consultation will be with the owner (Jackson Digney) who will take time to understand your vision and generously share advice from his years of experience. He will be upfront about prices and timeframes. And he will suggest ideas to help you get the exact custom home you want, matched to your block, and optimised for comfort and energy efficiency.
This is where we put your ideas on paper with a comprehensive Concept Plan. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you through the entire process including council, professional services (like engineering and soil testing), and even help you make all your selections (from colours to cabinets, taps and tiles, appliances and more). While many people who build with other companies say this feels daunting, we make it fun, giving you the information you need to make confident decisions.
Scheduling is the key to a successful build. While other companies fly by the seat of their pants (or try to schedule on the back of a notebook), we use a powerful Project Management Program to detail more than 400 lines of tasks and trades – each with a fixed price and a firm start and finish date. You have full access to this schedule, and with your agreement, we will get to work creating your dream home.
Our detailed scheduling process makes building a breeze. We start with site preparation that may include demolition and earth works. Then we move to footings and framing (all done on site). Then roofing, windows, and external cladding, paying special attention to limit thermal bridges and air flow to ensure comfort and energy efficiency. Now it’s time to work inside starting with initial plumbing and wiring, insulation and plasterboard, waterproofing and tiling, cabinetry, flooring, and final plumbing and electrical. And then back outside for landscaping. Every step is carried out by our trusted network of talented tradespeople and supervised to ensure exacting standards that look better, last longer, and provide the ultimate in comfort and energy efficiency. You can follow every step with your own login to our Project Management Program. And you’re welcome onsite anytime.
Two weeks before hand over we will walk you through your new home and take a microscope to every detail. If anything is less than perfect, we will fix it immediately. As scheduled – on time and on budget – you will receive your keys so you can enjoy your dream home. Over the next 12 months (4 seasons) we will keep in contact and return to fine tune any issues that arise.
