Wayville

Project Story

This home was a traditional city fringe home with heritage properties, the owners along with Mountford Williamson Architecture designed a mid century extension so the task was to marry both styles. This extension and renovation had energy efficiency focus along with healthy living with the clients heavily interested in the Passive House principles.

One task was joining the old and the new with different architecture styles, and the results take you on a journey from old to new. The open spaces in the new, bright lights and calming ambiance makes it feel like resort living. The internal standard is of the highest quality, all finishes are done to perfection utlising as many recycled and repurposed materials from the old without compromising the quality. Using double glazed UPVC windows, clean lines, sleek square set, shadowline skirting, western red cedar louvre timber cabinetry doors, stainless steel tops this house has it all as well as a pond!
